Questions,answered.
The short version of everything people ask us about riding Miami by water.
What is Nava?
Nava is Miami's rideshare on the water. You request a private boat in the Nava app and ride between 50+ waterfront docks — restaurants, marinas, event venues, and condo docks — across Biscayne Bay and the Miami River. Every ride is private, for 4 to 12 guests.
Is a boat really faster than driving in Miami?
On cross-water routes, yes — there are no causeways, bridges, or red lights on the bay. Miami Beach to Brickell runs about 12 minutes on the water versus roughly 35 minutes by car at rush hour.
Where can Nava take me?
Nava's network covers 50+ waterfront stops across Miami: South Beach, Brickell, Edgewater, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, and the Miami River, including restaurants like Kiki on the River, Casa Neos, and Seaspice, and venues like the Kaseya Center. See every route timed against traffic
How many people fit on a Nava boat?
Every Nava ride is a private boat for 4 to 12 guests. No shared rides, no strangers on board — your group, your schedule.
What about big Miami weekends — F1, Art Basel, Ultra?
That's when Nava matters most. On high-impact weekends the causeways lock up, but the bay keeps moving. Nava runs point-to-point on the water while the city sits in traffic.
Can my restaurant, venue, or condo become a Nava stop?
Yes. Waterfront restaurants, bars, hotels, event venues, condos, and marinas can register their dock as an official Nava pickup and drop-off point — riders arrive by water and your dock goes on the map.
When does Nava launch?
Nava is launching in Miami. Early-access riders get priority access on launch day plus promo credit on their first three trips.
