Nava Technologies Inc. (“Nava,” “we,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, mobile apps, and services, how we use it, and the choices you have over it.

01Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly — name, email, phone, payment details, dock and vessel details, and investor inquiry information — and information generated from your use of the service: trip history, pickup and drop-off locations, device and app telemetry, and support messages.

When you are moving on an active trip, we collect real-time GPS data from the rider and captain apps in order to dispatch, route, and safely complete the trip.

02How we use it

We use your information to operate the Nava marketplace — matching riders with captains, processing payments, providing customer support, preventing fraud, complying with law, and improving the service over time. For investor inquiries, we use your information to respond to your request and, where applicable, to facilitate the securities-offering process.

03Sharing

We share information only as needed to run the service:

  • With captains and vessel owners for the limited purpose of completing your trip.
  • With service providers who process payments, host our infrastructure, send messages on our behalf, or help us with analytics, under confidentiality obligations.
  • With Netcapital Systems LLC (or its successor) and related transfer agents when you participate in the Nava Regulation Crowdfunding offering.
  • With authorities when required by law, subpoena, or legitimate safety request.

We do not sell your personal information.

04SMS communications

If you provide your phone number and opt in to SMS, we send promotional and operational text messages including offers, ride credits, launch alerts, account verification, captain invitations, trip status updates, and payout notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of SMS does not affect your ability to use other Nava services. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in status are not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

05Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.

06Data retention

We retain account, trip, and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for the period required to comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations. Investor records are retained in accordance with SEC Regulation Crowdfunding recordkeeping rules.

07Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information — including encrypted storage for payment details, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

08Your choices

You can access, correct, or delete account information from within the Nava app or by contacting us. Residents of certain jurisdictions (including California and the EU) have additional rights under local law, including the right to request a copy of your personal data, the right to have it deleted, and the right to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, email info@ridenava.com.

09Children

Nava is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10Changes to this Policy

If we make material changes, we will notify you through email or in-app notice. The effective date at the top of this Policy reflects the latest revision.
