The ride
This is the longest route on the map and the biggest time win: eighteen minutes up the open bay from the Grove's marinas, versus forty-five fighting US-1, downtown, and the causeway. The skyline runs the whole length of the ride.
The South Beach end
South Beach needs no introduction, and the Grove end is just as good on the return: Monty's, Baleen at Grove Isle, and the sailboat anchorage lit up at night.
When it matters
Grove to beach by car is the worst commute in leisure: US-1, I-95, and the MacArthur stacked into one trip. On the water it's one straight, scenic line, 27 minutes of your evening back.
